To soar ..!!

Thats it buddy ! You are getting out of this and NOW !
Enough is enough. No more of this gloomy mess and so....

I'll soar !!

Some birds are destined to soar alone....
should i shed tears....
I could not flock...!
But...
There is no loneliness....
in my aloneness....
some birds are just meant to soar alone..!!

Ooooh! I can certainly relate to THAT!

When I was younger my Dad used to give me all these words of wisdom. One of the things he'd emphasise is that we're all alone in this world. It scared me! I didn't really understand the entire meaning until I was older...

We areindeed alone. No one knows how we feel, specifically. We can comunicate in many ways and even, perhaps find many who can relate keenly, but no one really KNOWS.

I have learned to love my aloneness. I have found a partner. I have children. They fill me up! But I am STILL alone.

That's why blogs are so great, I think. It's almost like we're talking to ourselves, but aren't fully aware of what answers will come rolling back. What do you think?

Alisa - You are so right, when you point out that 'no one really KNOWS'. Ultimately we all have to bear our own crosses..and essentially deep down be alone, but, that does not mean that we are unhappy ! On the contrary I believe that being that way enriches you..helps you be a good learner..a good assimilator and helps one experiencing life on a very deep level and not just superfically. Yes, I think blogging is good..its revived communication as opposed to just 'talking'! And the comments..whatever they are..always add to ones perspective !

I agree with you!
I think (and remember) what bitter lonliness is all about ~ perhaps it is at a stage of LEARNING of who we are, even in a mere situation. I look at my 12 year old step-son who is entering the age where no one ever would return to on a bet and see the inner struggle he faces as he tries to learn who he is. I remember that lonliness and the longing for someone to pull me out of the funk I was in, when in reality it was just the fear of the unknown self. As we grow...we face lonliness in different capacities, but still learning...
