Colours.
Early morning today, I saw the bulbs bursting through the stubborn earth. The green dazzling through the broken brown earth slumbering under grey skies, though spring hasn't sprung yet and winter still whiplashes. I stopped. A warmth spread through me, looking at this sudden splash of life. It was the colour of happiness and it cost nothing ! Simple things, that we so often take for granted, take no notice of and let them pass us by. All those things that weave the intricate tapestry of life.
And to think we could be that seedling ! To make it through, even with the weight of the entire earth. To be that dazzling green against the greys and browns of life ! To feel the soothing warmth of home and hearth, and to know its worth. To appreciate every drop of milky happiness and welcome it greedily like a suckling baby ! To drown in life. To swim in life. To be the silkworm which even in death gifts us with the silk of its life. And I....
I'll be the passionate painting. No matter what the colours of life.

Hey, I missed reading your blog when I was away. =)
Anyhoo, I agree that most people take the simple things in life for granted. I guess it's because they think that no matter what happens, it will always be there like it has always been.
Sadly, that's not always the case. And I do hope that we can all stop and think about our blessings, that we don't have to wait for some great tragedy before we realize that what we already have is truly wonderful.
Live your life to the fullest NOW. It's the only way to live. Love like there's no tomorrow and you will experience the joys of passion each and every day.
Happy Valentine's Day in advance!
Sums up very well how I think too! Live with passion... the world is full of magic and beauty and all you need to do is open your eyes.

I will be the answer when no one else gives me one. If only I could spread this to all of the people I see suffering from anxiety and depression. We blame so many others for our sadness, we forget we are our own enemies and saviors.
This is beautiful. I wish more people had the courage to say this and actually BELIEVE it. Thanks you.
''we are our own enemies and saviours..''
You are so right ! And its as if I have just woken from a deep slumber by these words. Thank you.
