Interesting how the woman is such a strong figure in the picture, and her date? is not that clear. I wonder what it is trying to say. By the way, do you draw/paint these pictures? If so, bravo.

oh wow pins that painting speaks so much!!!
the red and pink flowers, the wine, the candles, the woman...everything waiting...and with each passing moment, dying a little.
love the colour of the table cover, have a secret crush on this exact shade and have been searching for this very colour in organza. :)
i bet there is sade or some such smokey voiced singer playing whilst she saits and waits.

Waiting...it's one of the most frustrating things, because you can't control the outcome. Can you let go, and let it fly back to you?

Don't let the candle burn out, the wax spill over and burn you. The darkness will pervade, and you will be grasping for any light blindly.

WOW!

You are so talented! And, "Will I ever see you again?" Is a appropriate name for me to make my return :-)

Love the painting! The colours are wonderful and especially the table cloth. It's really beautiful and has so much feeling in it. I would put this one on my wall :-)

Look forward to reading/seeing more of you again :-)

love the way you have added depth with foreshortening to this painting...reminds me of a Baroque painting with the play of light and shadow in this one...you know you should exhibit this stuff....it is really good...

Hey Pins!!!
I haven't been here for too long...sorry. I hope things are well with you, how close are you to the London tragedy? Too close to home regardless, eh? Just letting you know I'm thinking of you and wanted to comment on all your beautiful pictures - I love them all! Sorry, I aparently missed a real pic of YOU yourself - that's what I get for being away too long....drat! :)

Pins, thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving such beautiful words behind in my comments. I had to come explore your site and there's some wonderful stuff here. Like you, I'm on what you might call a 'blogbatical' - hehe - spending time away from regular entries while I try to get my life into boxes in London and then out of boxes in Yorkshire. But I'm still finding time now and then to do some blog-surfing and I think it was time well spent in visiting yours. Take care and see you back here very soon. x
