love, love love love this painting!!!! that's me right now (accept i'm a brunette :)
wine & longing.
Interesting how the woman is such a strong figure in the picture, and her date? is not that clear. I wonder what it is trying to say. By the way, do you draw/paint these pictures? If so, bravo.
The colours you have used, their vividness and hues took my breath away. The wait is eternal but by the time the moment arrives we are healed.Lots of love and keep painting. You are awesome, truly!
I like your colors.
oh wow pins that painting speaks so much!!!
the red and pink flowers, the wine, the candles, the woman...everything waiting...and with each passing moment, dying a little.
love the colour of the table cover, have a secret crush on this exact shade and have been searching for this very colour in organza. :)
i bet there is sade or some such smokey voiced singer playing whilst she saits and waits.
excuse my foul mouth BUT fuck my old boots that is good. so many vibrant colours that flood the eye. the picture BREATHES. oh love that is so good and as for the title . . .have faith. hare hare rama.
What lovely colours, they shimmer like silk. Warmth radiates from it
Most likely.
oh wow, pincushion! that is some vivid picture. and it speaks volumes.
Waiting...it's one of the most frustrating things, because you can't control the outcome. Can you let go, and let it fly back to you?
Don't let the candle burn out, the wax spill over and burn you. The darkness will pervade, and you will be grasping for any light blindly.
Very very sultry!!!
Btw you've been book tagged!
Pins, you have a wonderful talent for understanding space! I like this painting very much!
Thats gorgeous!
WOW!
You are so talented! And, "Will I ever see you again?" Is a appropriate name for me to make my return :-)
Love the painting! The colours are wonderful and especially the table cloth. It's really beautiful and has so much feeling in it. I would put this one on my wall :-)
Look forward to reading/seeing more of you again :-)
Best Wishes

I can feel the pining in this one. Beautiful use of colours.
As I mentioned, I really like this one. Do you have a larger version you could send me? I would like to have it on my desktop if you don't object?

I want to sit at that table. So vibrant. So full of possibility.
love the way you have added depth with foreshortening to this painting...reminds me of a Baroque painting with the play of light and shadow in this one...you know you should exhibit this stuff....it is really good...

waiting and wanting and wondering... you make it seem beautiful here... not nearly as painful as it really is usually.
When are we going to see your posts again?
:-)
Hey Pins!!!
I haven't been here for too long...sorry. I hope things are well with you, how close are you to the London tragedy? Too close to home regardless, eh? Just letting you know I'm thinking of you and wanted to comment on all your beautiful pictures - I love them all! Sorry, I aparently missed a real pic of YOU yourself - that's what I get for being away too long....drat! :)
great picture!
where r u
same question, when are you coming back?
Pins, thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving such beautiful words behind in my comments. I had to come explore your site and there's some wonderful stuff here. Like you, I'm on what you might call a 'blogbatical' - hehe - spending time away from regular entries while I try to get my life into boxes in London and then out of boxes in Yorkshire. But I'm still finding time now and then to do some blog-surfing and I think it was time well spent in visiting yours. Take care and see you back here very soon. x
came by to say hi
the painting speaks a lot
just depicts the emotions in a distracting manner
I miss your posts...
such a beautiful painting. it looks and feels like velvet...
oh, this is so gorgeous-- I love the colors.
K.
ps If you have to have a wall(as most of us do), I'm glad it's glass: Thanks for allowing us to see in.
