Winter.
Theres that yearning again, rising up in wispy trails flowing through finger tips and reaching out; the nip in the air, the cold strangely burning the heart, the hearbeats rising in crescendo, breathless in fits and starts. I don't want to look in, lest I find you ; my heart betrays me, oh, why did you ???

Winter mean christmas is around the corner. Do you celebrate christmas? I celebrate all festivities and in Malaysia we have lots of festivities to celebrate. Hahahaha..
Isn't it odd, how a season that evokes festivities, family reunons, warmth at the hearth etc, can also evoke loneliness, feelings of exclusion and hopeless dreariness in this existential world of ours?
Hmm..Geetanjali is right. I have felt lost and lonely even in a crowd of people. The feeling that those whom we yearn to be with are away, and those around dont care.
Because lonely and alone are two different things...

Geetanjali, Qua Tros- You've both captured the essence ! Indeed, the existential angst is ever present giving rise to such antithetical elements in individual. That certainly goes for making life that much more interesting, doesn't it ?!
Free spirit- How true ! Just as Qua Tros stated, one can be alone in a crowd and sometimes in spite of being alone one is content and not lonely !
