Questions.

Absolute Truth : Is there one ?
I have always believed in that, but the world has its own versions and so does everybody else. The demarcating lines get swirled into a big whirlpool of conflicting emotions of every hue and colour and no more is there the clarity of a black and white truth! What IS the colour of truth ?
Whose truth ?!

One cannot escape the moments of truth one faces in life; some face it with dignity, others with a jaunty shrug, with the philosophy of hey, whatever suits me and who cares! I keep looking back over the shoulder to watch the child that still walks with me, within me and I realise I am no closer to answering any of it than I was then. If at all, everything’s more of a blurry grey!
I suppose it’s the case with most and most would prefer not to think! ‘You think too much’ is the common refrain. Perhaps they are wise but then I never was!

Eternal questions haunt me.
Why was I born?
To what greater purpose is life?
Surely theres more to life, than being born, working, mating, dying?

For the fire-flower at my core, won’t let me rest....

The Chakra whirling inside as....
I keep searching for The Light.

Hmm, reflective it is,you sound a bit self contradicting there, first you believe in absolute truth...and then you ponder about versions? may be your absolute may after all be another's version? may be not...:) more over a coffee when i visit london :))

Interesting. I would however, disconnect the absolute truth from the 'eternal questions'. There are versions to everything. One persons absolute truth might be another's eternal question? Just a thought.

There is only one truth. Yours. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. Unfortunately, this has been misconstrued, especially with criminals. There are rare moments, Pincushion, when it seems as if everything is in its proper place, everything is as it was meant to be. I know you have been there, and I know you will be there in this life and the next...

When you know your absolute truth, there will be no room for questions.

It is at your lowest point, the point at which you feel you have asked all questions, you are the most confused, you feel the most helpless...it is then, you will find clarity. It is not going to be a clarity discussed in books, tv, movies, etc...It will be unique to you and your life and it will make sense. Others will find you mad, that is when you know it is true.

Absolute truth can only be determined if you have an absolute guide to truth. When you are wandering through all the shades of gray you need somplace that you can come to and compare what is going on in your head with your guide to absolute truth. Without the guide, you have no absolute.

I don't believe in relative truth. I believe that absolute truth exists. Absolute truth would be that which is true for all people, in all times and under all circumstances. Compare your thoughts to the Absolute Truth Guide.

Agastya-I agree with the thought, realised it myself.

Poeticmermaid-Am slowly but surely in a process of arriving at 'my'understanding of truth and yes theres always the next life :)

Stan laurel-I understand what you mean. It gets worse before it gets better..doesn't it ?! Light at the end of a looooong tunnel...

G Dawney-Thank you for dropping by and the comment and for the link as well. Yes, it is important to have a guide, a guru so to say, makes things that much more easier. Thanks!

RachelAnn-Truth and God, they are interchangeable, aren't they ?!Searching for both....

Pins'..hi :)
this is very refelctive..the truth always always lies within us..The layers we gather through our ego and self will prevent us or act as barriers always..all the answers always lie within..and our search, our quest is endless :)
